About the Job: The integration build engineer is responsible for:

• Managing and supporting build and SCM tools (presently, maven and SVN).
• Developing the installation/deployment scripts for the applications.
• Maintaining the continuous integration servers that run unit tests, responsible for policing, debugging build failures and working with engineering team to resolve failures
• Providing builds to system test, ensuring that builds across all products adhere to same practices and standards
• Maintaining the automatic nightly build/deploy process that feeds into nightly automatic end-to-end testing across all projects.
• Provide technical guidance to the application and component team leads.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Engineering team, but much of this work will be done independently, across the different product/component teams, so an ability to remain focused on medium to long term goals, while resolving short-term issues, is essential.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Maven/SVN
• Expertise in scripting for Linux systems (shell/awk/perl/python etc)
• Experience working in scrum/agile teams.
• Experience working on a CI server or some other automated test framework.
• Experience setting priorities and planning work, while supporting existing applications.
