Ex-Norkom Executive joins The Now Factory to build on overseas success

Dublin, November 3rd, 2011 – The Now Factory (www.thenowfactory.com) announced today that it has appointed Liam Griffin as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to develop and drive the company’s sales and business development strategies as the company looks to expand its global footprint. Griffin was previously at Norkom Technologies where he was instrumental in building the company’s business abroad.

Having helped establish Norkom in 1998, Griffin became CCO and played a key role in executing its international expansion. When BAE Systems acquired the Company in March this year, it had over 400 employees and 130 global clients. Prior to Norkom, Griffin was Sales Director for Cap Gemini’s business operations in Ireland.

Rapid growth has seen The Now Factory’s revenues grow by 70 per cent year-on-year and the number of employees rise from five to one hundred and thirty in just four years. The Dublin-based firm opened its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore last December and recently announced its new North American headquarters in Mountain View, California.
