Mobile Moments Personal Fit creates detailed profiles in real time based on actual subscriber IP data usage, helping content and application providers deliver more personalised and relevant content that optimises the subscriber experience and drives greater revenue growth.
Personal Fit is powered by The Now Factory's combined Sourceworks/Smartworks IP probing and mediation architecture. As subscribers interact with a host of different IP services, Personal Fit analyses usage traffic in real time and records key information on a per-subscriber basis, including the individual's unique likes and dislikes, their location, and the devices they are using. Application and content providers can then access this information to create subscriber profiles in real time, helping deliver more personalised and engaging content based on actual subscriber behavior. Personal Fit refreshes usage information each time the subscriber interacts with various IP services, and by combining with a wealth of demographic information, ensures the service provider has the most up-to-date and relevant subscriber profiles.
Using a well-defined, high-performance interface, Personal Fit can share the valuable subscriber profile information it gathers with other 3rd-party content providers, including search engine and application providers. This interface can service thousands of requests per second from content serving systems and can also be deployed in a redundant cluster architecture for high availability purposes. Personal Fit can provide configurable subscriber profiles to 3rd-party content providers. One key important attribute that can be provided as part of a configurable profile is the subscriber's current location, which enables content and application providers to create and implement a broad range of innovative services.
In order to protect subscriber privileges, Personal Fit comes with an extensive Opt-In/Opt-Out framework. Using this feature, the service provider can create and execute Opt-In campaigns, where it delivers personalised content to those subscribers who have given their approval in advance to receive such content. A simple Opt-In/Opt-Out machine-to-machine interface supports the development of an Opt-Out channel, which enables a specific subscriber to opt out from receiving personalised content if they so desire. Opt-In/Opt-Out flags can be maintained across multiple types of channels. As an example, a specific subscriber can opt in for personalised content on the service provider's portal but opt out for IPTV streams.
